Ask HN: Founders and hiring managers: what's wrong with hiring employees?

I feel the need to pivot away from current trends in the employment/recruitment space is becoming increasingly important.

There are plenty of startups attempting to solve this problem; path.to, entelo, somewhere, etc. However the process still seems forced and in the end I think it still comes down to multiple tasks that could take months.
