I'm thinking about diversifying my current food labeling product line to help with seo with menus (http://www.quickfoodlabels.com), and was wondering if any of you had SEO tips

For example, when I was visiting my friends at Google, they told me having a Google+ page improves your seo by 70%.

Any hints/tips/myths from the hn community?
