Definition of kid (noun): 1. informal a child or young person

I prefer 'puppy'. Perhaps for overweight kids we could start using 'calf' ?

There isn't one. "Kid" can mean the young of either humans or goats. "Child" is a bit more formal, but that's about it.

What's wrong with the terms 'kid' and 'kids'?
