I agree, the big hype is paying off for them because many people looking into their code for free just to show how wrong they are but at the end they can fix these and then the criticism will not be true anymore. After the community "fixed" their front-end code they should open source the back-end too so they can get feedback on that too. After that the only thing that users should trust is that they will not alter the fixed codes.
