I actually don't mind Google Ads because I rather often see ads for obscure products that I find interesting and wouldn't have otherwise come across - that's almost the textbook definition of what advertising is supposed to do.

But then there are the obnoxious, foul, impolite ads full of auto-playing videos, sound, mail order brides, scammy fake "download" buttons next to the "real" download button.... and because of these things that pollute my consciousness, I'll forsake the google ads as well.
