I like those old movies where the knights wear shiny armour and have trials and lead the battles they support.

Is there any chance these three will grab a pistol and walk straight into Tehran and have a gun fight at sunrise or high noon ?

except they are people who just bought the shiney armour with their money. they are not knights and the medals are just given to them by a friend, partner-in-crime so to say.

its always high noon somewhere in the world, and im quite sure these ppl will do all they can to avoid that place :p

i wonder how scientists with major breakthrough must feel. maybe now they know they should rather have become a CEO in order to do science and win medals for it ^^

What makes you think the knights of the old times were any different or more honourable as people to those titled today ?

They did not buy this award, this is just the work of a politician creating ties with powerful people.
