Natural gas& co need infrastructure to be carried around, stored, processed etc.. you have just traded a single target power plant for a single target gas pipeline.
It can be transported by a truck? No infrastructure needed.
You don’t buy it from the truck though. The truck buys it from a massive storage facility at the refinery, fills the truck, the truck drives off and fills a hole someplace. Finally you buy it out of the hole.
