Researchers Drove a Chinese EV into an Underground Mine. It Kept Calling China

I have a lot of negative feelings toward modern Software Defined Vehicles. Unwanted surveillance is one of them.

They should have also driven an American car into an Underground mine and reported on the fact that it ALSO shares every bit of information it can with the manufacturer.

Yes, now compare it to modern EVs or non-EVs from every other brand.

I too hate this practice, but let’s not false for the anti-China rhetoric that makes it sound like what they’re doing is even remotely out of the ordinary.
