It is socially very curious: it's both unprofessional and weirdly malfunctional - almost any text creation platform flags misspelling automatically - and it's hard to explain how the behavior is widespread in a broad group. Rudy Guliani, for example, had been a real, serious attorney; how could he submit that work product?
