For the near future, I've got some of Emily St. John Mandel's books loaded up (I liked the Station Eleven series a lot), as well as Peter Heller's The River.

I have had a lot of fun with jeeves and wooster
I also really enjoyed raymond chandlers marlow series. Fast, easy to read, dense mystery.
Then there is rivers of london series, which is so wonderfuly visual of my london. Fun, not guessable and rich 3d characters.
For some reason I never read anything else by Heller until this year. Over the summer I read Burn, Celine, and The Orchard. All excellent. I think Heller is my favorite active writer and it surprises me because all of his books (that I've read) have a strong outdoorsman-type vibe and that's not me at all.
Of the four books, The Orchard really hooked me. I wish it was twice as long.
I just added Station Eleven to my to-read list yesterday. I read the first chapter online and it starts out great.
