Best Audio Journal / Diary PC Software

I've decided to start keeping a daily audio journal, and I'm looking for software recommendations.

I'm open to any suggestion, but ideally:

- Freeware / open source

- Windows PC

- Stores an individual compressed file for each entry

- Minimal effort to record an entry (e.g. one click)
