If you enjoy The Expanse, definitely pick up The Mercy of Gods, also by James S A Corey. It, and the recent sequel (The Faith of Beasts) are some of the best sci-fi I've read in a long time.

Thanks for that. Dune used to be my favourite sci-fi, but, The Expanse maybe trumps that now. I'll definitely check these out once I finish The Long Earth :)

I read Jurassic Park last month. Will recommend as well.

It is a deep and profound book. Proper SciFi.

Much emphasis on philosophy, ideas. It is so far from the public opinion about the movie: a monster attack and survival movie.

All the Sinners Bleed was a great novel, I've enjoyed all of Crosby's books. Subject matter is tough (especially this one), but a good thriller nonetheless.
