Show HN: Helping small business owners automate their front of house

imagine you’re agi looking down at us and you see adults throwing a billion dollars at teenagers so they can solve problems that aren’t actually problems. i’d pace myself too.

how about we use super intelligence to help people that are scraping by improve their lives so they can get a sliver of what every competent engineer experienced with claude code.

these solutions won’t be flashy and likely won’t be investable but they will help people work less and spend more times with their families.

this is the goal of essence; which i'm launching today. we're building a suite of products that you can explain easily to your parents and they’d see the point.

the first product we’re launching is live today and aims at helping small business owners that may not be able to afford the “front of house” necessary to bring in customers. essence gives them the ability to automate the inbound, qualification, and scheduling of customers so that they don’t have to hire a receptionist or stay late after work replying to voicemails.
