My point is that corporate power is currently so strong that existing regulations aren't even enforced, see anti hacking laws from 30 years ago.
Let alone creating and enforcing new effective regulations.
No regulations on corporations are enforced? That doesn't seem to be case. Making it about a bigger issue it reduces what pretty vanilla regulation could actually achieve, I think.
