Why? I've never seen that queue length for EVs. Have you?
I don't live in the US, but yes. I've seen people get into punch-ups because of the queues (although that happens with gas queues as well). All I'm saying is that queues are not improved by having longer servicing times. If you have the same ratio of cars to fuel pumps / chargers, the one that takes 30 minutes to fill up will be worse.
This prompted me to check how the UK Costco rollout of EV chargers is going, which seems to be proceeding slowly and is not all that much of a discount at £0.50/kWh. Type 2 plugs so slowish?
