Was expecting it to be US-only, but the list of blocked countries is odd.

I assume NBC has distribution deals with a handful of channels who air SNL in their respective countries.

And most of the countries on this list probably fall under some French channel’s domain since they are dependencies (edit: or former colonies).

Sounds plausible. In Germany, which is on the list, the show runs in syndication on ProSieben. They have their own VOD service and people can probably stream it there.
