Neomacs: GPU rendered Rust hard fork of Emacs

I’m not sure I understand what the purpose is? Performance metrics are only interesting when they affect a user. If you decrease latency on an API endpoint from 50ms to 40ms, you’ve had a 20% reduction in time. But if the user doesn’t notice, who cares?

I’ve never found that Emacs is sluggish for me.

How about building in Common Lisp instead?

Clearly LLM-assisted. However, it's extremely enticing... A much needed update. The Neo Editor (Flame) Wars could rekindle again!

I don’t see a LICENSE file in the project root. I’m wondering which will be chosen.

This kind of braifucking is neat. Personally i like making some number theory functions witohut gcd, mod, and conditionals.
