Was posted on Hackernews nearly 2 years ago with the same UI so this being a vibe coded project is unlikely.

Then I'm sad someone put so much effort to deliver this

I guess it was just part of the current website generation's training set!

I was thinking it was maybe GPT since I've had it generate this kind of black/green UI when I've prompted for just a blank skeleton page
