U.S. Presidents on their own can not declare a never-ending (failure so far) war without Congress. The ruling party in Congress has had plenty of opportunities to attach their names to a vote to authorize the so-far unauthorized war, yet they have not due to a dereliction of duty to their constituents, who are now starting to realize they are paying the price.

I really want to see which Republicans and Democrats would attach their name in a vote to authorize the war after U.S. Military incompetence murdered 100+ children on day one of the operation.
