Some folks from LUA Vision, the Brazilian company behind Genesys PI, reached out on LinkedIn offering test access to their model. That kind of thing usually doesn’t interest me, but this particular pitch, a Brazilian lab training a model from scratch instead of reselling a foreign model with a Portuguese layer on top, made me curious enough to run the test myself.
