Handy - It's great, supports Mac, Win and Linux. It's very focused on dictation, but it doesn't go too far outside of that. It's also completely free https://handy.computer/
VoiceInk - Mac only, and pretty good if you're on a Mac. It starts at $25 for one device. https://tryvoiceink.com/
Glimpse - the one I built. Mac and Windows, free local dictation. A lifetime license covers other paid features, w/ a 2 week free trial. https://tryglimpse.cc
If you use an android phone, it's easy to find patches for GBoard keyboard for turning on this new feature that was kept exclusive to Pixel 11 series.
I've put it in a simple android app https://github.com/resolveworks/scribe if you're interested
I launched a fully local transcription app where we offer 4 levels of transcription. The two highest levels do grammar cleaning, but I'm still reaching out to people to learn about their issues with other apps so we can build on top of that.
Where do you use these apps the most?
Thank you Al
What kind of punctuation commands do you need? For coding or regular English grammar?
I launched a speech to text app not so long ago and we are scouting the internet trying to find pains we can use to calibrate our app better in this field.
Ours does punctuation automatically, but I'm curious on what you need exactly.
Thank you Al
