it's independent lab testing of everyday food products for plastic chemicals (phthalates + bisphenols), with all results published publicly. I got nerd-sniped by PlasticList and wanted this kind of testing to keep happening. Now it's a full-blown platform with a fast pay-money -> get any food triplicate tested pipeline
But how costly is it? Do you think it is sustainable? I wanted to do something like this for India. But the lab costs was too much.
One project is a proportional coding font, Camelana, which has left-padded uppercase letters when they are part of a camel case identifier.
Also, it has custom ligatures. e.g. the keywords ‘return and ‘throw look like a sticker with a solid background, so it is easy to spot exit points.

Another project is TabularEye, which renders some code blocks in columns without editing the whitespace.

And other little projects like that
At home, ghidra-delinker-extension [1], a Ghidra extension for exporting relocatable object files (or in other words, stripping programs for parts like Doctor Frankenstein). Absurdly complex, got me a poster session at SURE workshop at ACM CCS last year, as a hobbyist.
API + SMTP + domain authentication + deliverability tooling, with the goal of making the painful parts of running email infrastructure much easier.
Way out of my wheelhouse, loads of fun, No AI.
Playable documentary where you get to reply parts of the history if the Roman Empire
At home, increasing the number of libraries I can check live availability for for Leafle. (Library software is a wild place man)

Revisiting my first ever game and porting it as an LLM benchmark, but I worked on this for 6 months so it’s piecemeal because I needed time away from it. Oh yeah Astra, Fable, etc all lose to humans in this game. Massively. Also, 1 hour games comfortably fit in a QR code, no server in the loop.

And finally, I’m working on yet another raycasting game engine and game which is what is taking most of my focus. It has some novel concepts that I’m not yet disclosing
