No, DHH’s comments were specifically in the context of Denmark where immigrants from Africa and the Middle East commit 300–400% more violent crimes (per capita) than the native Danish while immigrants from Europe, South America, India, the USA, Russia, and China commit violent crimes at rates similar to or lower than the native Danish. The problem is clearly not that the native Danish population are racist, it’s that some immigrants don’t deserve to live there. Immigration is not a right and it is not a universally good thing. It is a gift, and if the recipient abuses the host society then there’s no reason the hosts have to allow them to stay. The Danish are perfectly within their rights to limit the number of immigrants that they accept from Africa and the Middle East on the rational basis that those immigrants are less likely to respect Danish laws. They are perfectly within their rights to deport people who commit crimes on the rational basis that people who commit minor crimes and then don’t get punished for them will go on to commit more crimes, and more serious crimes.
You bring up the Mafia, but they are a major reason why US law allows our government to deport criminal immigrants. They are a major reason why immigrants who request asylum or citizenship must prove that they don’t have a criminal record, either here or back at home. I have no idea what Denmark’s immigration laws look like. DHH certainly states that they need similar ones, or that if they already have them then they need to actually use them.
None of that is racist or fascist.
The mass shooting problem in America isn't access to mass killing machines, it's white Christian men who don't integrate but instead cause criminality in a otherwise peaceful society.
The problem isn't that they are Christian, it's their behavior.
Second, your characterization of murders in the US is not very accurate. There’s no shame in that, because most people only know what the news reports and the reporting is generally terrible. Even when there is no deliberate distortion of the facts the journalists just generally don’t know what they’re talking about.
The simple fact of the matter is that that in the USA, most murderers are black. Black Americans commit the majority of the violent crime. Hispanics are somewhere in the middle, and asians have a lower crime rate than whites. And guess what? It is entirely appropriate to say that black Americans have a different culture than white Americans. Everyone already knows that.
It is also appropriate to point out, although it may be less well known, that there are multiple cultures within the black Americans. One of those cultures is the mainstream “ghetto” culture whose characteristics you know. Another is characterized by higher educational attainment, greater family cohesion, greater wealth, and greater access to intergenerational wealth, different accents, manner of dress, different cultural interests (music and whatnot), and a vastly lower rate of violent crime. This is the culture that has successfully integrated into American society.
As far as I know we don't have good statistics about the relative crime rate of immigrants to the US compared to native–born Americans. Our stats tend to focus on race rather than country of origin.
To quote Charlie Kirk’s last words (also killed by a white Christian man), that’s categorized differently than gang violence.
Either way, cherry picking your data to punch down at minorities doesn’t solve the violence and the probability someone in your family is going to get murdered.
Painting migrants with a broad brush as violent people while pretending the “native” society is “peaceful” is racism, which is likely the outcome of the media you’ve selected to consume.
This is exactly what I have _not_ done.
The stats from Denmark show that immigrants from specific regions are more violent than native–born Danish. It simultaneously shows that immigrants from _other_ regions are _less_ violent than native–born Danish. Did you not even look at that graph?
It is not racist for the Danish people to pick and choose which migrants they allow into their country.
