Trump announces 'forever' deal to defend Greenland, Denmark says sign next week

Well... until we see the "text" won't know for sure, but my DK sources say that it's the same deal as 1951 but saves his face by updating it to 2026. (will edit if this proves false.)

Edit: changed to 1951 per Politico reporting here [1]. And it does state "It is not clear how this new agreement changes that agreement..."

tbh, the implications for military spending in Greenland are huge, gotta keep an eye on this one https://marx.finance/feed/893d1114021c43c3b582575ad48d0953

Ask Ukraine how that went for them.

The Orange Imbecile manages to bully Denmark. Sad day for the civilized world.

How is it that Canada can stand up to Trump, but the bigger EU cannot?
