I was in an employment group and a guy who was laid off from Workday joined and he did not at all realize just how bad the product was until he was on the other side.
>Why do you ask me to upload my resume and then still prompt me to manually enter data?
Question for hiring managers and HR teams: do you all rely on manually-input work and education histories? When I've hired (albeit only at small companies) I just read resumes.
I feel exactly the same. I simply don't apply to companies that use Workday for recruitment. I hate companies that disrespect applicants.
You are not the target audience for workday. The product is sold to employers executives with their requirements in mind. Candidates applying portal is least of workdays and neither is the employer’s priority to fix. You choosing not to apply due to a portal is a lose to yourself.
Workday requires the most effort to fill out and always results in immediate rejection.
Garunteed workday HR outs workday applicants and informs 3rdparty companies of what youre doing including your current employer.
