I just got back from a vacation with family. My sister had this idea to assign everyone a color to take pictures of as we walked around. Not everyone was enthused about the itinerary for the day, and this turned out to be a brilliant way to keep everyone engaged, and to feel like we were all contributing to something fun together. At the end, we uploaded them to a shared Apple Photos album and she’s going to arrange them into a collage.

So, I love this idea! I think it would be great if there were a way for an arbitrary number of people to participate in versus mode, but in the end, have the option to combine the results into one big block.

It would also be super cool for a group to contribute to a photo mosaic: https://github.com/worldveil/photomosaic e.g. a family photo composed from the photos we took.
