govts should be forbidden from using X. Or any other commercial for-profit message service.

It's not like one-way communication is a hard problem. Just post that stuff on a website ffs!

So no internet, TV or radio then. And no billboards. Also no event venues except the town hall.

Maybe if we had some sort of non-profit corporation with a mission to ensure universal access to non-commercial, high-quality educational, cultural, and other content and telecommunications services.

Perhaps something like that could be expanded upon and utilized for government communication to the public?

Why no radio? The government is the one handing out the spectrum.

It's all privately operated for profit
