Musk Is Running a Fake Voter Registration Site Designed to Steal and Sell Data

Thanks, DOGE! Your founder keeps on giving me confidence everything is being run above board in the Executive Branch.

Again? Didnt he do this in 2024 too?

I am not denying that Musk is doing this. Who owns and operates vote.org? Just curious

> Who owns and operates vote.org?

Vote Org is a 501(c)(3) [1], so nobody owns it. It doesn't disclose major donors, though its officers and directors circa 2024 are listed there.

(One curiosity on their tax form: Vote Org reports $809k in legal-services spending to Faehre Drinker, but the actual law firm is Faegre Drinker [2]. Probably a typo.)

Long list of services, 1,200 lawyers

Sure, at FaeGre. Not FaeHre.

Again, probably a typo. But if I were up to shady fuckery, that's one way I'd hide it.
