Jitsi doesn't integrate with meeting rooms and calendars to my knowledge?

With Zoom we can have a setup where I just hit "join meeting" on a tablet in the meeting room and it'll join the meeting and pretty much just work.

For most normal meetings, this is the way to go. However, meetings that have hundreds to thousands of participants (corporate all-hands, investor earnings calls, etc), I just don't think it scales well enough.

Jitsi is an excellent free and open source alternative.

And that is useless if you have meetings with people that "have standardized" on Zoom, and that hold some sort of leverage over you, like clients/customers.

Can’t see enjoying my time on this Earth putting up with that sort of burnout.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how often someone will use jitsi when the alternative is not communicating with me in such a fashion.

I found Clients / Customers don't care, I just send them a meetings link and they find themselves shocked in that it just works.

If they moan say it's Zoom but the corporate version.

Self-hosting my own Jitsi and it's faultless and the way to go.

Just send a meeting link and it works in any browser.
