I take your point, but what you’re describing would have to cost thousands just in putting in underfloor pipes. It will never make financial sense to do it? Or am I misinterpreting your suggestion?
Yes, the heat pump will take an efficiency hit for using radiators rather than underfloor heating. I'd say that's just part of the cost of living in an old house.
