I base many of my purchases on how many hours per week I use them.

In terms of usage hours, my mobile phone comes out near the top. This makes the price almost immaterial.

For most people this can replace an iPhone Pro, a MacBook Neo and their iPad.

For those people, $2000 is a good price for a device that does all their digital work.

The correct price comparison is between an iPhone Pro and an iPad Mini, in the US that would be $1199 + $599. So for an extra $200 you don't have to carry and charge 2 devices. Not a terrible pitch.

Sure, I guess, but I don't have a Mini, or any tablet for that matter. I used to and found the form factor didn't meet my needs. I'm happier with a phone and a laptop.
