Anti-Flock Activist Bingo Card

That's a pretty short list and like he says real activists are few and far between.

OTOH ordinary people by the millions are just beginning to get wise to the fact that their every movement has already been recorded without their explicit permission in so many places, and they don't like it one bit.

So there's got to be at least a million other things to put on a faster-growing list, and that would be a much less-extreme list than a hard-core activist would ever come up with.

But greater critical mass.

I'm no activist but I have been thinking about this for decades, still carefully considering the pros & cons. I've said it before but I think Flock should be paying municipalities on an ongoing basis for use of public spaces as well as any local data collected. Flock should be making their money fair & square from places like Home Depot parking lots or HOAs where the property owner or owners have unanimously decided they are wanted.

Just recently now that so many more informed voices are coming to the surface, I have expanded my vision for both pro & con.

If Flock can't do it, I would like to see some billionaires having about 10x their capitalization come up with equivalent hardware and way more advanced technology and business model to go with it. They especially need to perfect that "micropayments" thing so they can pay the owner of each vehicle or identified target something like a flat minimum fee per surveillance period, plus additional increments per scan, payable monthly directly to each plateholder. Along with a downloadable digital record of all data collected.

Then if paying rent to the municipalities rather than costing them anything, plus putting money directly in the pockets of the general public every time they are scanned doesn't do the trick and make everyone unanimously in favor of Flock, I would try and think of something else to do.
