I already got a working Xet server with fully efficient `hf upload/hf download` functionality. I think I don't need much honestly than to mirror/proxy all the models and datasets I need and get some simple repo clones to exist.
If there's interest I'll post an article on how to not let ONE company keep access to models.
Isn’t there some Chinese site hosting all the models?
It feels like end-times. I'd like to help with archiving. Any recommendation of set of files to backup while still possible and huggingface not all 'cucked'
This is a silly take. It will grow. There are competitors.
