Show HN: TravelMap, my trips on a MapLibre globe

Hi HN, I thought some of you might enjoy the new TravelMap UI I just released.

The map shows my own trips, including cycling around Australia and rowing across the Atlantic.

It uses a MapLibre globe with vector tiles I host myself. On mobile, the trip content sits in a draggable bottom sheet over the map. Making the sheet work without fighting the map gestures was the hardest part.

Anyone can create their own map at travelmap.net too.

Happy to answer questions about the maps, the UI, the trips, or running TravelMap solo for 13 years.
