I've learned C++ first, personally, it is a little difficult to adapt the syntax of Rust. But many says it is a good programming language....
It is good as the first commercial experience, but for being a cool programmer the first lang has to be either Lisp or anything you like from Array programming.
I personally would still go with C as the first language since it teaches you low-level details ... but, the next one, yes, it should be Rust.
