"Even thought I don't know a lot about rap music..."

What incredible humility. She doesn't claim expertise in another music genre just because she's at the apex of another.

Such a role model.

I’ve seen artists be the artist’s artist, not the artist’s artist but the people’s artist… but Dolly was the only one who was both.

I thought writing a letter to Eminem was a bad idea.

Dear Slim...

You might be getting downvoted because they don't get the reference.

What a precious gem that letter is! Eminem's ability to empathise through his lyrics is just unparalleled. And, given the breadth of topics he covered over his career, that empathy "touched" people of all backgrounds. Whether you are a kid getting bullied at school or a super star addicted to fame [1] - Em has you covered!

This is so wholesome. Eminem is a legend on his own right. As a non-american I heard about Eminem before Dolly.

Many people know Eminem has a biological daughter Haile whom he includes in many songs. But he also has 2 adopted children - his ex-wife’s twin’s daughter (referred to as Lainey) and his ex-wife’s biological daughter.

Rest in peace Dolly.

I'm sorry, how is the part about his daughters relevant?

Generally speaking, adoption for the sake of helping and protecting kids is quite noble. It's a fun fact about Eminem folks don't know about and the original submission is a post from Eminem.
