How could it be satire? If you don't believe that investors' investments are the most important good-thing in the world, you must be an anti-capitalist in favor of Soviet-style central planning, and we all know how that turned out. There is no alternative.

Not everything is about money

Compared to the investments of investors who invest, literally nothing is as important as VCs in the world, not even doctors! Like what would humans even be without money? Probably poor, and who wants to be poor?
