Stripe to investors: the singularity has begun [pdf]

Very readable and interesting outlook on the current developments in the market.

Also really interesting to show that a company which started with a more technical product:

https://stripe.dev/blog/payment-api-design

is now exposing to their investors about how the world GDP and economics are expected to be developing in the coming years.

The vision in the document seems to make sense, is clear and they clearly invest in this trajectory themselves.

Guys wake up, new company to hate! Keep personally withholding the benefits of everyone's societal labor, see how that turns out for you.

Is this real? How come it isn't hosted on a Stripe domain? Share the source link

it's a leak, not an official release. axios published the letter they obtained: https://www.axios.com/2026/08/19/stripe-payments-openrouter-...

haven't compared the one here to that, but I'm guessing they're identical.

They're just writing their story based on the same supposed 'leak'. Why wouldn't Stripe host the pdf on their own server like they do other investor letters? Shrug
