That’s the most obnoxious and high-hurdle captcha I’ve seen. Instead of posting a link to xcancel, post a link to original source, which I presume is on X?

It sadly is.

When your entire business plan is to display scraped data, you don't want anyone scraping your data!

I thought that was just me being an idiot.

Also, least-rewarding link ever.

I think the link is just only to the captcha and not the actual xcancel tweet link.

Yeah the real xcancel link is https://xcancel.com/WassymBensaid/status/2090098856595951717

This posting bot got confused.

Yeah, I just lost interest, and decided to check comments instead.

To avoid the performative nonsense.

You can't read the full thread without an account on the official site. I usually post both when linking to twitter.

Until they add CarPlay/AndroidAuto support it really doesn't matter. I won't even consider a car that doesn't have that going forward.

Rivian’s software is pretty good. Often key fobs don’t work, but generally it is better than most cars except for Tesla.

The hardware is another story. My R1S was a hunk of junk. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car and I will never consider another Rivian.

This is part of why VW now contracts Rivian for their user-facing software after their own in-house software daughter company failed.

Bad timing though, in an age where talking about software sovereignty is all the rage.

The app’s ability to do complex things like opening the frunk is extremely poor, to say the least.

What was wrong with your R1S?

I had an R1T Launch Edition for a little over a year and it was hands down one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. The only issue I had was with the fob proximity sensor. The only reason I sold it was it was a bit too big for me.

If he had one shortly after they launched, the suspension was truly terrible. R1T was clearly where all the work went and it's like no one even drove an R1S before they released it. Thankfully due to SW updates the suspension is absolutely night and day better, it went from making me violently sick to pretty nice. Assuming dudes car wasn't just a lemon, if he had and got rid of the R1S before the suspension got better I can 100% believe he hates the car.

So it is pretty good by 2026 standards. 10 years ago this would have been considered a failure, today it is a feature.

Post link is https://xcancel.com/antibot/captcha

That's not going to lead anywhere beyond the homepage.

Worked fine for me, and I am behind a VPN. I wonder what is happening in your case.

You're telling me that this generic URL

https://xcancel.com/antibot/captcha

leads you to this particular post about Rivian OS 2?

I assumed that gp's post was an interstitial url.

Apologizes if I was wrong.
