Hmm. So, maybe, if my comment had noted the age/vote pair, and was clearer about the motivation for mentioning the paywall, that would have been less likely to create a meta discussion? And perhaps been consistent with the "don't post complaints about paywalls" policy?

Nod. Thus my comment, mostly aimed at the poster, that the (then) absence of votes/comments/engagement shouldn't necessarily be taken as lack of HN interest, but might reflect paywall friction. I could have been more clear, but was thinking more of supporting a dead post's postmortem, than of creating distraction on a subsequently active post. Tnx.
