Making Of: My Website

ocelot.lol

Hi!

I just wanted to share the details of building my personal site here on HN. Please let me know what you think, if you'd like, or don't if not!

If the site gets hugged to death, which it might, here's the archive link: https://web.archive.org/web/20260812130230/https://ocelot.lo...

hi, just wanted to let you know that I experienced continuous reload on the page, and captured this in the console:

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Unable to preload CSS for https://ocelot.lol/_app/immutable/assets/1.n1T2vemw.css Immutable 6 async* https://ocelot.lol/blog/2026/08/07/site-making-of:42 promise callback* https://ocelot.lol/blog/2026/08/07/site-making-of:41 HclGiUj8.js:1:921

Thanks!

What browser were you using? Any extensions that might be relevant? Appreciate it!

Did you encounter the same issue on the archived page? I'm wondering if maybe it's some caching issue, because the relevant .css file loads properly for me.
