Sure but this analogy is weird. I dont have to cook my own pasta in a restaurant, would be a counter analogy which is just as unfitting.

That was a good analogy.

This one is even better. Your refusing to tune your OS is like coming to a restaurant with gluten intolerance and expecting to eat anything without getting sick because you paid 30$ for your dish.

Maintain your gut health is your responsibility. Maintaining your OS to be able to run software (paid or free) – likewise. IDEA even displays helpful tips asking you to do so.
