Weeding crops in California from your hometown in Honduras

Aren’t humanoids overkill for weeding, a sledgehammer to crack a nut?!

Ah but once we've cracked the nut we'll take down the whole forest

I suspect deploying AGI in US agriculture is more of an existential crisis for tin pot socialist kleptocracies that rely on remittances from exported labour.

Eh, like drugs, the US is addicted to cheap imported labor.

Like cartels and imported hard drugs, ‘tin pot socialist kleptocracies dependent on exported resources (including people)’ and ‘abused and underpaid immigrant underclass’ are two hands clapping together.

Nonsense. do you think Elon is building Optimus for agriculture first?!

No but he should be XD

Can you think of a better low-stakes, highly manual proving ground for humanoids?
