Sunlight apps will always have the problem of anonymity.

1) Preventing malicious fake reports by anons.

2) Preserving the source anonymity of real reports.

Finding a working way out will be very consequential.

Indeed, the first thing I would do as a malicious state entity would be to flood any such app with fake reports.

You can also read the thread now.

What do you mean?

Oh, sorry, I was replying to someone else. Why would you flood it? Although I am manually approving the reports.

Submitting any kind of proof will at least reduce the fake reports, though again there is risk of fabrication of the data however those things can be handled at court!

Proof is more exposure. Substantiate the claim, no longer anonymous enough. Face retribution.

Yeah, that is why I didn't include it.

Yeah agreed. To prevent malicious fake reports by anons, I am approving them manually, and I also have spam detection

What if it itself starts taking bribe and doesn't report them .

Its already bribing its operators to pay more money or it will stop functioning

Ahaha, got some serious traffic on the website today; my free-tier Netlify couldn't handle it. Gotta wait till 25th July now.

Why not just self host this? Especially if you're serious about having a way to tackle corruption, you probably want to own your stack.

Managed platforms keep me free to work on the product.

Site not available. do you have a gofund me or something if you need helping with keeping it alive?

I will create one soon, didn’t realise this can get that much traffic

I'll pay you to take it down.

How much? or you can pay to me to keep it alive

I read a disillusioning statistic that showed that places known for bribery indictments are just places where the system is working

Saying that an unquantifiable amount of bribery is happening everywhere else, and should assumed to be so

I almost had a strong reading this hahahahah. Can you please expand on the second line I am interested in understanding more about it.

If this is your site, please visit Netlify’s Billing docs page or log into your Netlify account to upgrade your plan.

Yeah, man, can't afford to upgrade :/ I have to wait till 25th july till my Netlify credits to get refreshed.

I'll be happy to buy you some credits for this month. I'd recommend thinking how can you keep it alive in case it gets more visits.

I don't have a gofund yet but you can reach me out here https://www.linkedin.com/in/aryan-nishad-018290291/

The site is live now. Thanks for supporting this. You can check it out now and can give me your insights as well.

Cloudflare pages is free and as easy as netlify.

oh, doing it for Uganda will be great.

Road policemen (and policewomen) are ridiculous, and if they feel free to ask for money on the road you can image what their bosses do in their office.

I assume the Russian version of this app is just a feature in the state-sponsored browser that auto-fills your payment details for you?

You misspelled Israel’s Project Nimbus

I don't know about that. Can you tell me more about this?

Cloudflare has much more generous free tier.

I am having some problems with Cloudflare.

do you ? I'm curious to know

This is cool, but does it have a "Panic Button" that wipes your phone and buys you a plane ticket

Hahaha, why would I do that?

This is great, congrats on shipping!

Thank you; I appreciate it.

Are the reports listed currently legit or demo data? this is really good though.
