No it's because she's a corgi.

I don't think she was a full corgi (you almost never see all-white corgis, and not quite the right head/body shape) but she definitely had some corgi in there, or a similar herding breed. There's no way Strelka was a full corgi, either (although the idea of stray corgis running around Soviet Moscow is awesome, lol) but she also had a very expressive, corgi-ish face!

Well, technically she's a half corgi half mutt (from Strelka), but the point still stands.

Hey, if you wanna go on a site called Hacker News, suggesting technical articles and continue to read a one worded post linking to Wikipedia about politicians gifting each other pets, you sure are getting what you came here for.

Hacker News is for intellectual curiosity, not only for technical articles.

Well, there was the line about Pushinka being checked for an implanted listening device, so I suppose that counts as hacking news. :)
