Well it's a common manufacturer problem then, because USB-C connections are universally floppy and loose.

Are they? I can easily dangle my Phone of my USB-C cable. Maybe this is a regional problem. Within the EU I rarely ever had any mechanical problem with USB-C, where applied reasonably.
