When I worked in IT for the US congress (2012) the internal system that tracks constituents does the same thing. All offices uses it. "Black folks" was the most glaring odd label that I saw.

MSG database stands for "Madison square garden database", not "Message database". I think the title should be updated to avoid confusion.

good feedback. updated.

Is this a hate crime? It might literally be illegal in New York. Maybe they're undeserving of their millions of dollars of tax breaks.

Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership does something similar[1]. The worst part about these systems is that the lack of accountability and appeals process. If you end up on the "bad" list, you're banned and probably SOL.

Hmm, nobody is entitled to a private property visit and owner can set any rules they like

That’s not true at all. There are many rules affecting public establishments, including privately owned ones.

Your house is your house, but once you establish a venue open to the general public, you have to follow rules.

Which rules are broken?

Like with guns (opening paragraph about removing concealed carry guns). The sign “no guns on premise” doesn’t have power of law, unless it’s like school, but if owner asks you to leave, you should comply, otherwise you will be trespassing

New York City specifically has laws that require establishments to admit journalists and critics.

Civil liberties come into play. I can discriminate based on race or sex in who I allow into my house, but not my storefront.

Some place have straight up public accolades requirements - if it’s open to the public, it has to be open to the public.

I feel that I’m reading AI answer. Nobody needs your generalizations. Stay on point.

Have you read the referred article? Did you look up the club rules? How are NYC rules related to it, is it in NYC?

What is your point? Because it is clear that you comment with your prejudice and preconditions, not with article.

I think you intended to respond to a different comment. This is the one about Madison Square Gardens tracking database.

The first paragraph does not mention guns. Madison Square Gardens is not a club. And, yes, it is in NYC.

The parent of my reponse, that you answered to, was about Joe Rogan’s club. You didn’t read the thread

This is risk scores for celebrities looking for free tickets. Does anyone really care?

It's for the cameraman to know where to point during live and taped events.
