Never thought Presidential pardons extended to soccer games, but here we are.

Only FIFA Nobel Laureates can pardon soccer players I believe.

In the US it will soon be reported that the US won the FIFA World Cup, meanwhile in North Korea it will be reported they won it.

So much wining

I've watched too many years of sports out of Europe to be surprised by flexible rules.

I've watched cycling since the early 90's and they were all over the place, making up their rules as they go.

They're still all over the place. The recent kerfuffles over gear ratios, bar widths, 32" wheels and ice packs are only a few recent examples.

I love cycling and will cheer anything that moves. Right now, though, my go to is watching "norcal cycling" on youtube. The dude covers local/regional races and it's just fun.

FIFA is what the NCAA wants to be when it grows up.
