They now know they can close the straight whenever they please and the mightiest military in the world is not able to open it back up.
The straight and the confidence in their ability to survive complete air dominance by two of the most sophisticated military forces in the world is Irans new A-Bomb.
Which is a complete disaster for Israel.
Israelis never need to forget two things before the next election, the Oct 7th atrocities were carried out by Hamas, and everyone who participated deserves to be hunted and killed with the same brutality they murdered and raped elderly and children with, but equally important, it was the Israeli PM who allowed this to happen by his inflated ego, creating an "impenetrable" high tech border with sensors and outposts that were beaten by a few caterpillars and hanggliders.
For Bibi not going to jail he has to keep his forever wars up so the people of Israel are distracted and not able to finally mourn the victims properly and asking the important question why did this happen in the first place and who needs to take full responsibility for it.
So Iran trapped the Israeli PM who thought he could control Trump and the narrative and they got completely outplayed by the Iranians.
Iran managed to get Bibi the Zelensky treatment and now the US President is publicly humiliating the Israeli PM into submission by letting trump ramble publicly about how weak, insane and isolated Bibi is.
So either Bibi becomes Trump's bitch and misses all of his war goals which will get him eaten alive by the Israelis asking themselves why they all suffered through this? Or he keeps whatever dignity is left in that old meat bag and can kiss his freedom and legacy goodbye.
Oh and lets not forget the US lost this war using AI. Which speaks a lot against using the technology in a military context. It produced a lot of noise / kills which did not translate into a better strategic outcome, more control or in the end winning the war.
This never happened. There were no rapes, no elderly nor children were raped. Please do not spread false information.
I will and did call out IDF war crimes before as well.
There is !!overwhelming!! eye witness account and confirmation by internationally recognized bodies of the monstrosities the Hamas cowards did to their victims.
I will not cite the dozens of Israeli reports because we both know even first responders from ZAKA lied. But there were multiple independent investigations coming to the same conclusion.

And a Israeli life is not worth more, or less, than a Palestinian life.
Reading that you compare victim numbers to justify the Oct 7th atrocities as resistance effort in your personal believe system makes me genuinely sad.
It will never be justified to kill civilians, be it Palestinians or Israelis, Russians or Ukrainians or Iranians and US Americans.
May Allah open your eyes and your heart, so that you can see and accept the truth.
How throwing grenades into missile bunkers full of frightened 16 year old girls near the Nova Festival or going into retirement homes in the kibutzes and shooting old helpless grandmothers dead or kidnapping them is "fighting back against the oppressor" is something I can't understand and am not willing to accept.
And also Israel is only able to resist being conquered by it's Arab neighbors because of the US. Record says also no.

Beyond that, what would prevent the next administration from unilaterally decreeing this current agreement null and void as was done with the JCPOA? They certainly aren't going to want to bear the brunt of political unpopularity of paying out billions in war reparations.
The superior option is obviously to trust the US.
After Vietnam and Afghanistan, has the US not learned that countries at war are willing to incur costs well beyond what the State Department thinks they should?
So really, you're advocating for nuclear war? Or how should I understand this?
> For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep. All of Lebanon must burn!
> With all due respect to the Americans, Israel must make it clear to the entire world that the blood of our sons and the security of our citizens are not forfeit. All of Lebanon must burn. Our supreme duty is to protect the citizens of Israel and the soldiers of the IDF, and this commitment takes precedence over every other consideration.
> I told the Prime Minister, even in our private meetings: For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep.
> Enough with the ping-pong. In the Middle East, you don’t win with measured responses and restraint—you need to go berserk. To obliterate. To crush the terror.
Notably, the same strategy of disproportionate response was used by Germany during World War II to suppress insurgent groups in territories that Germany was occupying. Some examples of this include the Kragujevac massacre, where they responded to insurgent groups killing 10 Germans and wounding 26 others by killing around 2800 Serbs, and the Ardeatine massacre, where they responded to an insurgent group killing 33 Germans by killing 335 Italians.

Ben-Gvir is so far-right, that he celebrates the murder of his own PM:

context: My close fried lost his cousin due to Hamas murders on Oct. 7. I am not anti-Israel in any way. I just want everyone to be aware of how far-right bibi has taken Israel to avoid prison, and his other plans. He put Ben-Gvir, who is hated in Israel, into government.
