GitHub Copilot Is Down

Another outage at GitHub. Last time that happened was 6 days ago. [0]

This time it is with their own chatbot taking an unannounced watercooler break after running too hot on trying to fix GitHub's own outages.

Instead of waiting for Copilot to get back from its break, local models have a far greater uptime and are available to you 24/7.

Another free reminder that you should consider local models or self-hosting.
